Social-Media Based Education Coming Soon: Complete the Survey with Your Interests

HealthCare Chaplaincy Network and the Spiritual Care Association are developing social-media based education opportunities.  Because social media has the ability to include persons who are unable to travel to education events because of distance or financial constrictions, HCCN and SCA are creating opportunities for chaplains and spiritual care providers to increase their knowledge and engage in dialogue with colleagues.

The education will take place on an invitation-only and closed social media page that has moderated and substantive discussions, crowd-sourcing opportunities to share ideas and programs, and offers discussion on articles on specific topics.  Participants will be asked to abide by an ethical agreement about participation in the group, including the tone of posts and interactions with others as well as confidentiality regarding the dialogue and discussion.

A survey to identify potential topics has been created which takes about five minutes to complete.  You can also indicate your interest in being informed of when the education groups begin to participate as well as sharing your expertise as a moderator for a specific topic.
